As a Youth Summer Camp Coach, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the summer camp experience for our young participants. Your responsibilities will include supervising and leading group activities, fostering a supportive environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers.
Supervision: Provide attentive guidance during various camp activities, ensuring the safety of campers at all times.
Activity Facilitation: Lead engaging and age-appropriate games and exercises that promote teamwork and personal growth.
Role Modeling: Set a positive example for campers, encouraging respect, responsibility, and inclusivity.
Conflict Resolution: Address behavioral issues promptly and constructively, maintaining a harmonious camp environment.
Safety and Emergency Response: Enforce safety protocols and respond effectively to emergencies or hazards.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with campers and fellow staff members.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the camp program.
Previous experience working with children and teenagers preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification preferred
Passion for outdoor activities and youth development
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environment
Dates: Summer camp runs from May 26th to August 8th, Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Work Environment: Eudaimonia’s indoor and outdoor facilities
Successful employment contingent on passing a background check and participating in mandatory employee trainings
