Wildlife Watch Training

Become a Wildlife Watch volunteer!  

A collaboration between Wild Aware, Evergreen Audubon & Nature Center, and Denver Mountain Parks, this program helps protect elk and support safe, respectful wildlife viewing during critical seasonal periods at Evergreen Lake.

Come to the training to learn about the program, and to feel confident and prepared in your volunteer role.  After the training, you can sign up for weekend shifts that work for you (Friday evening through Sunday from May 15 - June 28). This is a great way to be outside and enjoy the lake while helping the beautiful elk that also call Evergreen home.
