Our speaker, Marilyn Saltzman, will be guiding us through the process of creating or fine tuning our introductions!
A clear and engaging introduction for your business or organization is essential as it serves as a concise yet powerful tool to articulate your brand's value proposition quickly and effectively to potential clients or investors. It can impact networking opportunities, attract interest, and establish a strong initial impression, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of your business.
Marilyn Saltzman worked as a journalist, serving as editor of The Golden Daily Transcript and stringer for The Denver Post. She was public relations manager for Jefferson County Public Schools for 20 years and has been a public relations consultant for school districts and nonprofits across the nation. She taught public relations for graduate students as an adjunct professor at Colorado State University. An active volunteer in the community, she serves as secretary of the Conifer Area Council and as a Mountain Resource Center board member. She was previously president of numerous nonprofit boards including Congregation Beth Evergreen; Mountain Resource Center; Denver affiliate, Susan G. Komen Foundation; Jeffco Good News Coalition; Colorado Press Women; and the Colorado Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association.
