Defiant Requiem Screening and Discussion

Congregation Beth Evergreen is delighted to bring this powerful film to our beloved mountain community; the event is not only hosted at no cost to participants, but also includes an introduction and post-screening discussion with founder and featured conductor Maestro Murry Sidlin.

By honoring the defiance and bravery of the prisoners in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp (Terezín) on Holocaust Rememberance Day, CBE seeks to inspire and facilitate a robust and generative local dialogue around human agency and the essential role of music and art in claiming and reclaiming a spirit of shared humanity.
