A Rat Pack Purim

It?s Purim ? a Jewish festival where fun and frivolity reign ? and so does Queen Esther, who saved the Jews from extinction by marrying a Persian king. In honor of the holiday, Beth Evergreen members will perform an original musical comedy, ?A Rat Pack Purim.? The free event is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Congregation Beth Evergreen, 2981 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, and all are welcome to attend.

 

The Schpiel is set in a seedy nightclub on the Shushan Strip in the 6th century BCE. Through song, dance and comedy, the ?original? Rat Pack, aka the Purim Pack, will retell the story of Purim.
