SUMMARY:July Bird Walk at Meyer Ranch
DESCRIPTION:Walks are offered on a monthly basis. Each season brings new species and new bird behavior. We will spend the morning looking for birds\, working on identification and enjoy time outdoors with fellow bird lovers. Birders of all levels of experience are invited to join our walks including children with an interest in birds (as long as they are accompanied by an adult!).\n\nOur July bird walk will take place at Meyer Ranch Park. We will be exploring the meadows\, conifer forest and aspen groves in search of montane birds. We will discuss the relationships between native plants\, birds\, insects and local wildlife. We'll be looking for raptors\, bluebirds\, flycatchers\, chickadees\, woodpeckers\, nuthatches\, swallows and more!\n\nWe will be practicing social distancing and participants are required to wear masks for the duration of the trip.
